On June 4th, I had the pleasure of being part of the first annual Desert Foothills Book Festival!
The Desert Foothills Book Festival was a real treat to participate in! This event took place at The Holland Center in Scottsdale, was presented by the Desert Foothills Library. The creation of this festival grew from the desire of a group of local authors to connect personally with book lovers and to promote an appreciation of reading and the literary arts. It is a celebration of the importance of reading in our community. No matter what kind of books one prefers to read, there was an author there for that genre.
It was a pleasure to connect with local authors and book lovers alike. I also enjoyed the
company of my trusty helper - a.k.a. my husband. : )
